This is to let Sorey to be himself and no need to take on extra burden so that he won't be consumed by malevolence. I like the fact that she will handle the burden of handling the bloodshed instead of letting Sorey taking the resposibility. I would say it is a strength (in a sense) to be able to hold onto his own ideals regardless of what other people thinks.Īnd I totally dislike how the anime didn't even have the scene where Rose decides to be the Shadow for Sorey. What's wrong for not wanting to kill people? I don't see how sticking to his own believes make him a loser. Not every person is the same, the MC is still a human being. I don't mind Sorey sticking to his ideals. Seeing the gloomy Sorey for multiple episodes is quite annoying to be honest. But instead, they wasted them for animating how Sorey thinks about dealing with Malevolence. Most of the talking scenes in Season 2 could've been used for fighting scenes or dungeon exploration. There are 2 episodes (EP 5-6) in Tales of Zestiria the X (2016) It show the early story of Berseria When Velvet escaped the prison And some others moments (not that much) explaining some elements of Berseria Eizen is in one of the episodes as well that gives more of his story. I think the anime is worse than the game.
